Having first played the single player of JO for the consoles, Marti soon became a fan of the JKA series. He spent countless hours beating JO over and over again, until suddenly he discovered the online - multiplayer - world of the Jedi Knight universe. This happened back in 2009 and his journey as a new player began in the -=AFL=- clan. Marti was welcomed into the community and stayed in the clan for around 2 years until he decided to start his own clan called TFE - The Force Enlightenment.
This is when Marti first visited the (JAWA) clan for real (excluding previous short-term visits). Link offered help by letting TFE recruit new members for their clan on the (JAWA) server, however, due to major inactivity in TFE and the lack of members the clan was soon disbanded. Marti had yet another LOA from the game due to personal reasons and somewhere around the end of 2011 he returned to JA, only this time as a (JAWA) trialist. At the end of his trial, he decided he actually wanted to rebuild his old clan (which never really took off) and to prove himself that he is able to maintain a community.
A little bit later he realised that (JAWA) already had all the elements he wanted to see in a gaming clan community - a well organised infrastructure, friendly player base and lots of events, including the famous (JAWA) School, which motivated Marti to once again ignite his lightsaber and start practising - something that he has never done before as much as he does now due to him being a talkative person who spends most of his time on the server chatting. It was not until he attended the first (JAWA) School lesson when he actually started to care about dueling and remembered all the basics he learned while he was an -=AFL=- member.
Marti had once again become a (JAWA)trialist and on the 20th of May, 2012 he was welcomed into the clan by Knightmare.
